Feels like NYC

Hat: River Island

Dress: Zara

Kimono: Topshop

Shoes: Missguided

This outfit pretty much sums up my entire spring summer.

I think I’ve been trying to cast too many spells that I might have finally come into my full form, well for the summer at least. Though I must admit, with the weeks of heat we had here and there was torture. By the way, this is coming from someone who actually used to live in a warm, humid and hot country, it was hard to wear anything with sleeves.

I must say, I am a big fan of sleeves, particularly long sleeves which you can roll up. It’s just my thing and so to go even a day without it seemed weird but a huge necessity. Even hats can make you sweaty and I can finally understand why people want to wear less though I think a little suffering for the sake of fashion isn’t so bad too.

Trust me, I’d rather look good and have my accessories on and kimono on than wear so little and be very self conscious. I do think when you know you look good that day, regardless of its practicality, ok maybe to a small extend its practicality, it makes you confident and I take that over feeling sluggish and self conscious but too comfortable any day.

Anything for that little boost of confidence.
